The golden sandy beaches of Puerto Del Carmen and Los Pocillos are just a 10 minute drive from Tias & one of the main attractions of Lanzarote. The unusual lunar landscape of the island lends itself to some very unique sightseeing excursions.

The roads all over the island are reasonable and a hire car is a worthwhile addition to make the most of your holiday and essential if you wish to take in all the sights.

The village of Tias is situated just 4Kms inland from Puerto Del Carmen and has all the necessary shops and excellent restaurants. This village location is an excellent base to explore the island of Lanzarote.The Timanfaya National Park is only 13Kms away. The sandy coves of Papagayo near Playa Blanca are 30Kms away and the lively resort of Puerto Del Carmen with its large array of restaurants, shops and bars, harbour and superb sandy beach is an easy 4Kms drive or taxi ride away
